vaccine news

I just heard that Missouri passed a law to not allow any vaccines that contain mercury into our state.
I think that's incorrect. If you have any info please leave me some links.

From what I've read online April of 2005 Missouri proposed to pass a law that pregnant women and children under three are prohibited from receiving all but traces of the mercury-containing preservative thimerosal from vaccinations. (traces!??)

If you are an aware parent then you know that many parents, physicians and health advocates have been pushing for mercury free vaccines for close to 10 years now. But even with the heightened awareness about the adverse effects that mercury causes the pharmaceutical companies and even Dr’s have still been using up old supply.

Correct me if I’m wrong but as far as I know the vaccines that are “mercury free” still have traces in them but the vaccine does go through a process to remove most of the mercury. So none are really FREE.

Anyone have any links about this new law in MO?

(And also this just includes childhood vaccines and only those vaccines to be given to kids under three years old. The flu Shot for example still contains mercury. As far as I know there is no mercury free alternative. )

Personally the law is a great step towards vaccine awareness and safety blah blah blah, but I am still under no circumstance vaccinating my children. We are vax free.
